MY JOURNEY
My passion for clean beauty and love for nature is my inspiration behind creating handmade soaps, body care and skin care the sustainable way. I hand make fresh products that have nourishing and healing qualities that literally ‘feed your skin’ using only the best ingredients that nature has to offer.
My well researched, hand crafted products are free from toxic & harmful chemicals such as sodium laurel sulfate, micro-plastics, parabens, phthalates, petroleum by-products and preservatives. I make soap by the traditional cold process method. Using this method means, the naturally occurring glycerin is not removed. This also allows the ingredients to stay at a low temperature to guarantee they keep their therapeutic properties. The gentle ingredients formed in the soap making process are perfect for hydrating and nourishing your skin.
All products are made in small batches with lots of love and attention to ensure the highest level of quality.
As a teenager, I had a troublesome skin. Outbreaks and pimples loved me while blackheads were my best buddies. Forever around!
All of those years, once a week, Amma (as I referred to my mother) would prepare some or the other scrub or mask in her kitchen and my 'Beauty session' would begin. To my teenage brain, those were very stressful times! We would argue about why I couldn’t use a quick fix, OTC treatment that would instantly better my skin and Amma would always say that natural treatments indeed take time, but are a permanent fix, always. ‘Old School’ is what I thought of her then.
20 years later, as a franchise owner of a renowned International Beauty Brand based in UAE, I would promote their products and have my clients ask me which one of them do I use for they’d like to use the same so they can have skin like mine. That’s when the value of those natural handmade treatments dawned upon me. My ‘old school’ Amma’s natural remedies had truly ‘fixed' my skin 'permanently'.
Today, I can recall her advice like it were yesterday; never experiment with your skin and do not apply what’s not 95% natural. The 1% could be skin safe preservatives that guard the product from rotting, but that’s about it. If you can't eat it, don't let your skin be fed by it; because what you eat can be thrown out if your body doesn't accept it, but skin, the largest organ, keeps absorbing it and your body ultimately has to pay the price.
When I think of passing her legacy to the world, the principles behind the brand remain the same. Most of our products are a 100% vegan and natural. Every product is carefully curated using skin loving ingredients intentioned to nourish, moisturize and treat skin as per individual requirements. It is also very important to me that bath and skincare time should be a fun and happy time. And that's the reason our brand and products are so colorful and cheerful, while being made with the best natural ingredients handpicked from around the world,.
As a Conscious Impact Creator, it is very important for me to give back to the environment. I firmly believe that business can be a force for good, and I am committed to making a positive impact on people and the planet.
